SecureGuard: Monitor and Control Your Alarm System
SecureGuard is a free iPhone app developed by ADT Security Pty Ltd. It allows you to monitor and control your alarm system from anywhere in the world, provided you are using a SecureGuard alarm panel or a Guardian communicator with selected third-party alarm panels. With SecureGuard, you can easily arm, disarm, or stay arm different areas of your home as set up by the technician. You can receive alerts when the alarm is triggered and know where on your property the intrusion occurred. You can also check whether your alarm system is armed or not.
The app lets you open or close your gate or garage door and switch your lights, sprinklers, and pool pump on or off. You can even see if there is AC power or not at your place. SecureGuard allows you to identify the different areas or partitions of your home by uploading photos and customizing area and zone names. Additionally, you can access a history of events via the event log and bypass specific zones, when in use, to prevent triggering an alarm. However, to access the above features and more, you must be using a SecureGuard alarm panel or a Guardian communicator which is connected via the serial port to one of the third-party panels.
